- Club concerns:
- What impact will the Coaching Membership Definition have on the clubs?
- All coaches should be members of PSA.
- Coaches have two years (until July 1, 2010) to get the Continuing Educations Credits (CEUs).
- There are different CEU requirements for different categories.
- PSA will monitor it and provide each coach with a card of some sort
indicating their status for the year.
- Many of the credits can be obtained online.
- The main concern is how will each club monitor this at
day, an interclub competition? This issue is not resolved yet but
in general it is felt that it will be done at the registration table.
- Announcements:
- Lynne Hudson's Free Skating appointment. Bill talked with
Tina Lundgren (outgoing Judges Committee Chair), Larry Mondschein (outgoing
Technical Committee Group Coordinator) and, Dawn Eyerly (incoming
Judges Committee Chair) at the May Meeting regarding the appointment.
Dawn reported Lynne should receive a Gold Test appointment.
Note: Dawn, Tina and Sara Kastner ( Eastern VC for S/P)
will decide whether Lynne needs to take an exam before she receives
the appointment
