Notes - March 18, 2003

  1. Present: Bill Mein (Potsdam FSC), Patricia Carvill (Massena FSC), Linda McDonald (Massena FSC), Cheryl Faucher (Massena FSC) and Brenda Gravendar (Potsdam FSC)

  2. Secretary's Report: There was no report available.

  3. Financial Report: The March financial report was distributed. Expenses included:
    • Ice Illusions Synchro team -$300 to help offset expenses to attend Synchro Nationals in Huntsville, AL.
    • The Columbia University Synchro Team - $100 to help offset expenses to attend Synchro Nationals in Huntsville, AL.

  4. Old Business:
    1. Calendar Updates - Additions and changes were presented. (The calendar is located at http://www.communitysights.com/nnyrcfsc). Our website is updated as items are given to Bill. Bill submits competition announcements to USFSA to be posted on their website.

  5. New Business:
    1. Meeting frequency. Delegates will be polled to ascertain if it might be more productive to have meetings every other month instead of each month.
      To that end, we will not meet in April.
      Fall meetings might be the 4th Tuesdays of the month instead of the 3rd Tuesdays of the month.
      Under this plan, fall meetings would be September 23rd, November 18th (3rd Tuesday so it will not interfere with Thanksgiving), January 27th and March 23rd.
    2. Member clubs should assign their proxy votes to someone attending the May Meeting. Bill Mein (USFSA # 299511), Brenda Gravander and Mary Ashley Carroll all plan to attend.
