- Announcements:
- The most recent version of the Sunrise Newsletter from VP Ted Clark is
available on the Northern Council
website.
- Dianna Dandro, an alumni of both the Northern Stars and the Rainbow Connection, is a member
of the Miami Collegiate Team.
- The Sunday night program at Cheel is modeled after Karen Courtland Kelly's classes at Lake Placid.
The time frame of 6:15-8:30 is divided between two levels.
During these hour long group sessions, the pros will work with spins, stroking, reach, synchro moves,
Annie's edges, tech turns and other skills that lend to group instruction.
These lessons will continue until the end of March.
The fee will be determined by the number of skaters.
- Club Comments:
- It would be difficult for Northern Council to host a qualifying competition, with the exception
of Eastern Adults.
- The Synchro Development Committee has been discussing correlating the moves in the field
test levels with the synchro levels.
There is a move to split the synchro nationals.
Next Meeting:
November 19, 7:00pm. McCarthy's Restaurant, US Route 11 S, Canton, NY 13617.
