Minutes - November 20, 2001

McCarthy's, Canton, NY
  1. Present: Bill Mein (Potsdam FSC), Patricia Carvill (Massena FSC), Dianne Loonan (FSC Watertown), Linda McDonald (Massena FSC), Robert Neulieb (Clayton FSC), Lynne Dufore (Norfolk-Norwood FSC) and Anne Karlberg (Norfolk-Norwood FSC).

  2. Secretary's Report: Notes (not minutes as there was not a quorum) from the October meeting were sent to delegates. Patti made a motion that all minutes and notes from previous meetings without quorums be accepted. Motion was seconded by Lynne and carried.

  3. Financial Report - The November fiancial report was distributed and approved.

  4. Old Business:
    1. Calendar updates - Additions and changes were presented. (An updated calendar is attached.) Our web site is updated as items are given to Bill.
    2. North Council Test Sessions - The issue of North Council Test Sessions was raised. After reviewing the calendar it was determined that the timing of the test sessions in the northern area (Potsdam, Norfolk-Norwood, Massena) is appropriate.
    3. By-laws - Work has been started.

  5. Announcements:
    1. Sharon Lickenbaugh has Adirondack competition medals she woule like to sell. Contact: 518-789-8895 (h), 518-926-2001 (w), or sluckenbaugh@glensfallshosp.org
    2. Chuck Mlynarczyk from Potsdam Hannawa Falls has attained the status of International National Accountant.
    3. Jeanette Davey (Note: Bill Mein's daughter) will act as synchro team leader to Findland. (Note: Her name was submitted to the ISU as a Trial Judge for Synchro Junior Worlds in Croatia.)

  6. Concerns:
    1. There currently is not ice in Norfolk-Norwood.
    2. Potsdam is working to have a Michelle Kwan appearance.
    3. Massena's paperwork for the pros is in the system.

  7. Next Meeting: January 15th, 2002, 7:00pm, McCarthy's Restaurant, Canton, NY 13617
