2. Secretary's Report: The minutes were accepted as written.

3. Financial Report: Report was accepted as distributed.

4. Old Business:
   1. Calendar updates - Additions and changes were presented. (An updated calendar is attached.) Our web site is updated as items are given to Bill.
   2. Tax Exempt Number - It is recommended that each club obtain its own tax exempt number and North Council not obtain a tax exempt number that could be used by all NC clubs.
5. New Business:
   
   1. Nominating Committee - The Nominating Committee presented for Vice President - Patricia Carvill and for Secretary.- Dianne Loonan. There were no nominations from the floor.
   2. Governing Council - Bill attended Governing Council and distributed a review of information from the meeting.

6. Announcements:
   1. Bill, in his role as NC President, continues to visit NC clubs. (He has visited Clayton, Massena, Norfolk-Norwood, and Potsdam FSCs.)
   2. Jeanette Davey is Team Leader for Synchro at NA Championships in Orlando.

7. Club Concerns:
   1. Information about liability insurance has been sent to all clubs. This insurance is offered by Accordia Insurance through USFSA.
   2. USFSA has requested that each club submit an updated version of its by-laws. This set of by-laws would be used if a grievance were to be filed against a club.
   3. It is a good option for clubs to have their treasurers, and others in the club that handle club monies, bonded. The process is inexpensive. Positions, not individual names, are listed.
   4. NC needs to update its by-laws.

8. Reminders:
   1. Northern Council will sponsor a Test Chair Meeting, as well as a Competition Chair Meeting, prior to the August Northern Council meeting (August 15). The meeting will be held in Ogdensburg.
