   2. Dreams for a Cure. On April 24, 2007 “Dreams for a Cure” Ice Skating Show will take place at the 1932 Arena in the Olympic Center Complex in Lake Placid at 7:30 pm. This is the first in what we hope to be an annual event to raise money for cancer research and it is sanctioned by US Figure Skating. A $5.00 donation would be appreciated at the door. This year the area for the proceeds to be donated is the Susan B. Koman Foundation. Breast Cancer affects everyone in some way. Everyone knows someone that has or has a family member affected by this form of cancer. It affects men and women.

      If anyone is interested in helping or donating they may do so in a variety of ways: Pink Sponsors – Program donation of $25 or $50; Silent Auction donation of a gift or service to be auctioned at the event; or volunteer to help during the event itself.
